Photo Slide show
This project gave me the chance to use a new medium. I have never appreciated photography until now. I was able to capture very important parts of my life into upclose images and that provoked a positive emotional response. I was very happy with how my images turned out and hope to explore with my camera more. Instead of taking images for each principles, I took a bunch of pictures and found which image had the most prominent element or principle. This was difficult, only because I could identify more than one concept in each image. There were many that over lapped or and used different elements to develop different principles.
Although I enjoy your images, I think if there were descriptions for each image, it would help see what you saw in your process. Knowing your thought process helps us very much in viewing your work. For most of your pictures, I could tell what they were without looking at the title. For example, I enjoyed your shape picture, for we do not really think of light as a "shape", but you made that happen. For your value picture, I understood because of the black and white, and I also understood your form picture. I was confused on your movement picture for a while, for I do not know what your thought process was for the term movement. The tapestry is more of a pattern for me, or even color, so I wish there was a description for this. Overall, I enjoyed your project, but maybe some more time spent would make this really great. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThese are great images, and the quality is very nice as well. I agree with the comment above that descriptions may have been helpful but overall I was able to understand what you were trying to convey. Good job overall I really enjoyed viewing your slideshow.
ReplyDeleteI loved your images. It reminded of images that would be on someones Tumblr account but I also wish you wrote the meaning behind all of your images as well, it would have made it more interesting.
ReplyDeleteEach image taken captured the definition and what comes to mind when I think about each of those words when related to art. The photo used for color, stood out to me so much and captured my attention at first glance. The quality and time spent to capture they right photo was evident in your project.
